"51-E-1" is a 2001 E-One Cyclone II with a 750 gallon tank and a 1500 gpm pump. It is housed at central station. Assuming there is a full crew at central, it responds to most calls with four firefighters. However, it will take all six to a reported structure fire. In addition to fire fighting equipment, Engine 1 carries a thermal imager, the "jaws of life", a gas meter, spill containment materials, BLS emergency medical equipment, and an AED.
