The R-23 vehicle is currently station at North Station and designated as "A-13." It is often run at the Paramedicl level, if there are enough people working to staff it. The designation of each vehicle remains constant ("R-23") but the vehicle itself may have its response assignment changed in order to rotate vehicles in assure the most appropriate use. For example, this vehicle was recently reassigned from the "A-15" position at Central Station to the "A-13" position at North Station. "A-13" is generally a little quieter than "A-15" and therefore more appropriate for the aging vehicle. Updated: 8.9.09 |
